Cozy cottage (baita) in the mountains of San Siro at approximately 500 meters altitude, boasting a beautiful spacious covered terrace with magic view onto the lake and mountains, the perfect place for a group of up to 3 persons who love hiking, mountain biking and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains!
The house features a practical layout and is as follows:
Entrance with living room, dining table, TV with Italian channels and full kitchen with induction hob. The living room is connected by hallway stairs to the bedroom which a double bed and single bed. The bathroom includes a shower, washing machine, wash basin, bidet and toilet. The terrace comes with comfortable outdoor furniture and a swinging chair. The house includes a private parking space along the road near the entrance of the village, approximately 5 minutes walk from the house.
The house is part of a small mountain village called San Martino, which has a seasonal restaurant and offers fantastic views onto the lake and surrounding mountains. Parking is possible on of one of the public parking spaces around the village and it common to park on the side of road in the Summer months.
San Martino can only be reached via a twisty, steep mountain road and is approximately 20 minutes drive from the main road, the Via Statale Regina, that runs along the western shores of Lake Como.
