Two-room apartment in a beautiful location with stunning lake and mountain views and a large communal pool, close to the center of Menaggio. The ideal accommodation for couples and families looking for a centrally located apartment with a shared pool and unbeatable views!
The accommodation
Living room with open kitchen: The apartment has a furnished spacious living room with extendable dining table, couch, cocktail armchair and internet-enabled flat-screen TV. A sliding door leads to the balcony with a wonderful lake view. The open kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove, an oven, a dishwasher and a refrigerator. Furthermore, the usual kitchen utensils such as a coffee machine, espresso machine, milk frother, kettle, toaster, etc. are available.
Bedroom 1 with bathroom:
From the king-size bed in the master bedroom you have a very nice view of the lake. There is a large closet with an iron, ironing board and clothes horse, a small work table and a wicker armchair. The adjoining new bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin, washing machine, hairdryer, bathroom scales and make-up mirror.
Bedroom 2 with bathroom:
The second bedroom with mountain and small lake views has two single beds suitable for adults, a built-in wardrobe and a workstation. The bathroom, which is also new, has an open shower, toilet and washbasin.

The beds are made and towels are provided. The final cleaning fee covers the cost of bed linen, towels and final cleaning by a professional cleaning company. The apartment is located on the second floor of a building with a total of 3 floors and is accessible via a staircase or elevator. The large communal pool in the spacious tree-lined garden has a sun terrace and sun loungers. The apartment is part of a small vacation complex surrounded by greenery on the sunny hills of San Siro and is located behind the famous "James Bond" villa La Gaeta. The apartment has an outdoor parking space in the grounds of the residence.

The apartment is located between San Siro (2 km away) and Menaggio (3 km away). A car is advisable for your stay. In San Siro there are small stores, 2 pizzerias and a bar. In Menaggio you will find a supermarket, restaurants, bars, stores and local entertainment.
Ferries depart from here to many places on the lake. The beautiful Bellagio and the splendid town of Varenna are particularly worth a visit. For beach and cocktail lovers there is the Lido di Menaggio with swimming pools, beach, volleyball court and entertainment facilities just a 5-minute drive from the apartment. If you are interested in water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, you can rent equipment in the towns of Cremia, Domaso and Gera Lario to enjoy the best winds of Lake Como.
If you prefer walks along the lakeshore through beautiful and quiet villages, these are only 10 minutes by car from the house. For hikers and sports enthusiasts, there are countless hiking trails in the surrounding mountains and many mountain bike trails around the lake and in the mountains. You can also reach Menaggio on foot in about 40 minutes on the Antica Via Regina, the hiking trail that runs behind the complex and offers wonderful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. You can get around the lake on foot, by bus, bicycle or ferry. A trip by ferry is definitely the best way to enjoy the beauty of Lake Como and visit the pearls of the lake such as Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna and Como town.
You can explore the west side of Lake Como from Como to Sorico and or from Menaggio to Lugano by bus - Lungolario. The nearest bus stop for the west shore tour is in San Siro Lavena (1 km away).
The nearest train station for the journey to Como or Milan by train is in Varenna. The nearest international airports are Milano-Malpensa and Bergamo, Orio al Serio, which are both around 90-102 minutes away by car.
